FINALLY: 48 hours in a row off of work...

Another long hard week but finally a break. After work on Fri I joined a friend and we drove to meet Brad to camp the night at Rabbit Valley. Got to our site about 10pm then woke up the next day and got on the river at Loma, CO and then rafted to Westwater, UT. Twas FANTASTIC with awesome weather (skirted a thunderstorm on Sat), GREAT company, WONDERFUL camping, BEAUTIFUL scenery and some FINE hiking. I got bit up a lot but it was worth it. Clifford had a great time too. We LOVE our new rig and look forward to using it more and more. I will include other pictures in the future when I get them (everyone had a camera but I forgot mine. Hope you all had as spectacular weekend as I did. Tomorrow it is back to work with about a 70 hour week. Ughh... :)... at least I have work!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I hope you all have mother's as great as mine :)...

So this week has been good. Work as usual. On call this weekend with my now consistent 2am call of someone getting really sick that I have to go in and take care of. There has finally been a break in the weather so I have gotten to walk in some sun which makes me happy. Brad hooked up Mercy (our camper) to his raft and took that this weekend. He said it was very scary getting down the driveway. Luckily I was in the hospital working while he tried that feat. I got to celebrate with Shinta re her getting her working permit (YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO). Did get on the motorcycle today to go to the hospital. Had 2 beautiful days in a row. It's supposed to snow again tomorrow though. Other than that not much else is new. Hope you are all happy and healthy and wished your mother's a timely Happy Mother's day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xavier... LOVE HIM...

So another week of work, winter storms in the spring and some fun. I am so sick of winter but there is no choice except to put on my one piece and go out and deal. Work has been pretty busy still... off season is over but the locals are now coming in. Got to see Xavier Rudd this week and he was AWESOME as usual. Made my week but also made me tired. Another thing making me tired is house sitting a friends dog who has diarrhea and hasn't figured out the dog door. We did celebrate our 7th year in our house and did that by having the people who sold it to us over for dinner. It was fun for them and us to reminise as they loved the house as much as we do. Today my plan is getting ready for another week.

ALSO, Shinta got her work permit... YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... :) We will celebrate that milestone soon.

Love and peace to all who read this... Kim
