Belize... we made it and made it back:)

We made it... after getting delayed a day and having to take the cme to denver then fly out the following day we got there and it was good. We stayed at Ramon's Village on Ambergris Caye which was awesome. Dove and snorkeled Tues, dove Wed and Thurs and explored the island on bike Tues morning and on golf cart Friday. Sat was a LONG 4 plane trip home but we made it and it is so good to be here. Diving with Turiano a MASTER master diver was awesome and we saw lots of shark, eal, great coral, eagle rays/spotted rays, dolphin etc etc... Had some good meals and met some very nice people. It was an island of very nice people, easy to navigate with lots o English. Very relaxing and fun!

the vacation that might not be

despite a trial of a praise to ullr (the god of snow) by brad to give us a break and let us go to Belize that didn't work out yesterday and may not today... will keep all informed

new campin look

Ahh... in prep for the summer I got a new look to my car... it is easy on and off so it is already off but this will help with the camping trips :)
Other news is we are fixing our shower to be a steam shower to help with those evil colds/allergies (thanks Mom and Dad for your Christmas gift that helped in this endeavor)...
Finally, going to Belize if the storm lets us!!!!!!! whoo hooo

like owner, like dog

so this week Clifford has been let out more... he loves having his dog door back and he and i have discovered more similarities.... we both now sit on the floor with our legs winged out and we both have a similar pattern of dragging our feet in the snow (both of mine since i have had 2 acl surgeries and 1 of his since he only has had 1)... we are both stiff after long walks and long times not walking.... overall he is doing well and that is good.
other new news is that brad and i took the plunge and are redoing our shower into a steam shower... our house is a construction zone and at first the work went fast this week but then slowed to a halt... we hope to have it done in the next 2 weeks but we will see... after me having that last upper respiratory infection lasting 15 days i will look forward to a steam shower and with brad's sinuses it will help him a lot...
other than that it is just work in a busy on-season... it is snowing a little more and town is packed...

another week in "as the Aspen Leaf Turns"

Hi all... so another week goes by. This week was Cliffords 6th week post op and despite the fact that his hair is NOT growing back he is progressing! We went to the vet and got xrays and he has some bone growing in on his implant in his knee and it is stable per the surgeon. SO, he has graduated to being able to use the dog door YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is great not only for him but for me too. He is also allowed to be off leash on walks as long as he doesn't run (right!!!) and can go on 20 min walks now. Since he has been sort of progressing to off leash the 5 days before seeing the vet and already up to 20min walks I am letting him take 30 min walks (he and I are SUCH bad patients). He is still bored comparitively but it is better than before. Per the vet it is another 4-6 weeks before he can go back to his normal routine but we are 1 week closer.

As for my new car, which is currently VERY dirty, I am starting to get used to it. I have started to enjoy all the fun things about it ie it feels like a James Bond car with the hands free calling AND it flies on the highway. It is very comfortable to drive. I am going to buy a great box for the top for camping and skiing so am looking forward to when that comes.

Other than that work is busy but doing well. We still love our new place. And Brad is doing great with tons of high profile gigs he is enjoying completely.
